Please note that under Level 2 Covid-19 health and safety protocols the Clubhouse will not be open on Race Days. When the restrictions on sports events are finally lifted, however, you are invited to come and enjoy the racing from the Clubhouse (Trackside Pub and Grill) balcony:
The Trackside Pub and Grill will keep you refreshed and energised on race day, with bars, restaurant, and an upstairs hall, so get your friends and family together and come and enjoy the friendly, professional atmosphere.
The kids can play on the lawn or in the Kiddies Korner, which has a jungle gym, sand pit, mini race track for Y-bikes, play tubes and jumping castle, with our child minders in attendance while you sip on a cold one and watch the racing on the track from the balcony and on the big screen TV for out of sight areas of the track. A second screen showing lap timing in real time also provides interesting viewing.
Our smoking bar also boasts a flat screen TV showing the racing, along with dual DSTV for your other sporting viewing.
For your convenience, we now have a (free) shuttle service in operation on race days. Contact Carl 079 512 7074.
After racing ends: Join us for liquid refreshments while waiting for the traffic to ease, our kitchen is open until 9:00pm.

This hall seats 40 people at round tables of six. It leads onto the north-facing balcony via sliding doors and has direct access to the Non-Smoking Bar.
The base hire fee for this venue is R720 plus a R1500 refundable breakage deposit.
The Downstairs Hall can host up to 250 people, seated at round tables. It has a full bar and a stage, and leads out onto a north-facing patio via sliding doors.
The base hire fee for this venue is R2455 plus a R1500 refundable breakage deposit.
We can also offer a Bedouin tent over the patio at an extra cost of R3200.
New Pits Lounge:
Our New Pits Lounge is situated over the New Pits on the Main Straight and can seat up to 30 people in a casual but stylish bar/cocktail lounge format. It is accessed via a large balcony facing onto the Main Straight that can seat up to 60 people at six-seater picnic benches.
It also has a smaller north-facing balcony of its own that seats up to 24 at four-seater tables.
The base hire fee for this venue is R3200 plus a R1500 refundable breakage deposit.
Host a Braai:
The Clubhouse has two braai areas available for hire to those who wish to host a braai – one on the upstairs balcony and the other in the covered seating area leading off the Downstairs Hall.
We provide wood at R30 a bag and will light your fire to ensure a warm welcome.
The base hire fee for this venue is R800.00 for a half day or R1600 for a full day, plus a R1500 refundable breakage deposit.

Did you know that because it is an outdoor venue our popular “Kiddies Korner” is allowed to accommodate up to 100 people under the Covid-19 Regulations?
That’s ideal for birthday parties, holiday celebrations, family get-togethers – any special occasion involving children!
To celebrate the return of warmer weather, we’re offering Spring Specials on hire charges for this venue: Just R500 plus a R1500 refundable breakage deposit, for either a morning slot (9:00am to 1:00pm) or an afternoon slot (2:00pm to 6:00pm).
Or you can give your children and their friends an experience they’ll never forget – hire the Korner for the whole day (9:00am to 5:00pm) for R950 plus the R1500 refundable breakage deposit.
The Kiddies Korner is fenced all round so you won’t lose any toddlers that like to wander off on their own; it also has undercover seating with a built-in braai and an exciting play area featuring a jungle-gym, play-tubes, sandpit, jumping castle, and a mini-track for scooter-bikes, as well as ample secure parking right outside.
There’s also a Mother’s Room with a fridge for keeping juice-boxes and fridge cakes deliciously cold, a nappy-changing station, toilet and wash-up facilities, plus a privacy nook for breast-feeding.
