21 May NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 30 JUNE 2021
Notice is hereby given that the 2021 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE WESTERN PROVINCE MOTOR CLUB will be held on WEDNESDAY 30 JUNE 2021 at 18:30 at Killarney International Raceway.
The business of the AGM shall include –
- Presentation of annual report
- Review of the audited financial statements
- Other matters that may be considered appropriate
- The election of the chairman and vice-chairman
- Special Awards
Format of the AGM:
As per the constitution of the WPMC, the AGM will be held in person. Those unable to attend may join the meeting digitally via Zoom.
Nominations:
The electoral officer is George Williams, however nominations for the position of either Chairman, Vice-Chairman or both are to be returned on the attached forms to Dave Abrahams, at dave@wpmc.co.za on or before Friday 28 May 2021. The list of nominations shall be distributed to Members via e-mail by no later than Wednesday 9 June. .
Voting by members unable attend in person:
If a Member is unable to attend the Annual General Meeting in person or will be attending the meeting digitally, then paragraph 19.5 of the Constitution shall be applicable.
COVID
Covid regulations apply to all gatherings. Members attending the AGM are please to adhere to these regulations. Should there be any amendments to the regulations due to the uptick in infections, then these would automatically become applicable. To aid planning and to ensure compliance with COVID regulations, please advise the Club secretary, Terri Philander, at terri@wpmc.co.za if you will be attending the AGM in person.
