FIRST POST-LOCKDOWN TRACK DAY AT KILLARNEY A ROARING SUCCESS

A full house of more than 100 riders turned out for the Motorcycle Track School powered by KTM Cape Town on Saturday 3 October, the first at Killarney since lockdown took effect on 27 March. They ranged from rookies on commuter bikes to experienced riders and former racer on the latest superbikes, and everything in between.

Many hadn’t ridden at all during lockdown and all were rusty, but eager to get back on terms with their machines, and to benefit from the advice of the experienced road and racing instructors.

Whatever their level of experience and the type of motorcycle they were riding, however, all the riders had one thing in common – the buzz and excitement of riding their bikes as to the manner born in a safe, legal and controlled environment after so many months of enforced layoff.
