10 Sep EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AT KILLARNEY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
The Western Province Motor Club at Killarney International Raceway has a vacancy for a maintenance tractor driver/general handyman.
The duties include:
- Driving the WPMC’s Londini tractor pursuant to general maintenance at the facility, including but not limited to mowing of grass, towing a MacNay RS96 sweeper, and towing various trailers as required.
- Driving the WPMC’s road vehicles on public roads when required for collection/delivery of material and refuelling.
- A valid South African Class EB (Code 8) driving licence is thus a minimum requirement.
- Minor mechanical experience with weed eaters and 2 stroke motors is desirable but not compulsory.
As Killarney is a sporting arena with many events, the applicant must be willing to work on weekends and should have reliable own transport, or alternatively, live within conveniently close distance and make use of public transport.
