NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2025 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE WESTERN PROVINCE MOTOR CLUB will be held on THURSDAY 26 JUNE 2025 at 18:30 at Killarney International Raceway.

The business of the AGM shall include –

  • Presentation of annual report
  • Review of the audited financial statements
  • Other matters that may be considered appropriate
  • The election of the chairman and vice-chairman
  • Special Awards (If awarded)

Format of the AGM:

As per the constitution of the WPMC, the AGM will be held in person.

Nominations:

Nominations for the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman are to be returned on the attached forms to Dave Abrahams, at dave@wpmc.co.za before 18:00 on Monday 26 May 2025. The list of nominations shall be distributed to Members via e-mail by no later than Thursday 5 June 2025.

Voting by members unable attend in person:

If a Member is unable to attend the Annual General Meeting in person, then paragraph 19.5 of the Constitution shall be applicable Viz.

The Member has 7 (seven) days to give the administration written notice of the inability to attend the annual general meeting and shall request a ballot form to be sent, leaving 14 (fourteen) days  before the date of the annual general meeting.

The Member shall indicate his vote as to the chairman and vice-chairman on the ballot and shall send same in a sealed envelope to the electoral officer and at the postal address nominated by the Club in the notice of the Annual General Meeting.

A ballot form shall only be valid if received 7 (seven) days before the relevant Annual General Meeting.
