19 May IN MEMORIAM: Heather Lewies

It is with great shock and sorrow that we have learned of the sudden passing of Heather Lewies, Chief Marshal at the Algoa Motorsport Club, on Saturday, 17 May.

Heather played an instrumental role in the motorsport industry, ensuring the safety and obedience of others whilst successfully working in multiple facets.

She is renowned for her dedication to Aldo Scribante Racetrack, The Simola Hillclimb, Extreme Festival, SAES and Formula E Cape Town; where her friendly face and charming wit will sorely be missed.

WPMC sends forth their deepest condolences to her family and friends but more importantly her marshals and colleagues at AMSC, our thoughts are with you during these trying times.

Heather truly was the heart and soul of any team, a void that will forever remain unfilled.

A true pillar in triumph, Heather’s legacy in motorsport will always be cherished, may her soul rest in peace.
