04 Jun IMPORTANT INFORMATION: SAES SIX HOURS OF KILLARNEY
National Endurance Racing returns to Killarney this weekend – Friday 6 and Saturday 7 June – with the SAES Six Hours of Killarney. This is a South African Endurance Series event, not one hosted by the Western Province Motor Club, so the ticket pricing and some of the rules will be different to what you are accustomed to at Killarney.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
SAES will have their own staff manning the gates on Friday and Saturday. Friday access is different – please read below.
WPMC membership books will be recognised. If you attend the event on Friday 6 June, the relevant page will be torn out from your membership book on that day and you will be given an armband, which you will need to access the facility on Saturday 7 June.
If you attend the event on Saturday only, you will still be given an armband at the gate.
Access cards of staff members and workshop employees will be recognised. You’ll be given an armband, which you must wear at all times while at Killarney, either on Friday 6 or Saturday 7 June.
The Joubert Pits Lounge will not be open to the public during this event; other food and beverage outlets will operate as normal for a Main Circuit event.
The WPMC Members’ Boma will be open on Saturday 7 June.
Boma and viewing plot holders may access their bomas/viewing plots during the event. If you are a member, the relevant page will be torn out from your membership book on entry, and you will be given an armband. Should you attend both days, you will need the armband to access the facility on Saturday 7 June.
If you are not a member, you will need to purchase a ticket to enter the facility.
WPMC members accessing the Karting Circuit for practice on Friday 6 or Saturday 7 June will present their membership book at the gate; the relevant page will be torn out from your membership book on that day, and you will be given an armband. Should you attend both days, you will need the armband to access the facility on Saturday 7 June.
Staff and employees on duty at the Karting Circuit on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 June will be given an armband, which must be worn at all times while at Killarney.
The paddock and the fan walk will not be open to spectators unless you have purchased a Grid Walk ticket.

General access Saturday: R150
General access Saturday plus Grid Walk: R450
Children under 12 enter free on both days.
