POWER SERIES 2021 AT KILLARNEY GETS OFF TO A HOT START

Round 1 of the 2021 Power Series presented by Wingfield Motors and Kfm 94.5 at Killarney International Raceway will feature all the regional classes as we start the new season the way you like it – flat out!

Sadly, the prohibition on spectators at all motorsport events is still in force and NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED.

Taking into account the current rise in Covid-19 infections in the Western Cape and in order to reduce the risk of transmission at Killarney, the event will be run in two parts.

Part 1 on Saturday 6 February will include races for the , Cheaper Cars GTI Challenge, the Bejo Trustees Fine Cars, Sports and GT Cars and the Makita Formula Supercars, as well as the RST Suzuki South Superbikes and RST Trac Mac Clubmans Motorcycles.

Part 2 on Saturday 27 February will include races for the Mikes Place Clubmans Saloons, Millstock Cars Pre-1980 and Pre-1990 Cars, V8 Masters, Formula Libre Single Seaters and the RST Trac Mac Powersport Motorcycles, as well as a one-hour Superbike endurance race.

Strict health and safety protocols among competitors and crews will be observed, including compulsory wearing of face masks at all times, strict cleaning protocols and temperature screening of all competitors and crew attending.

The racing will be live-streamed by IMUSAT Sport on both days, so that our Killarney family worldwide can follow all the action in safety from wherever they happen to be.

Practice and qualifying will start at 8:00am on both days.
