Following the high-speed incident in Turn 1 on Saturday, Motorsport South Africa (MSA) require the tyres in that area to be strapped as a matter of urgency.

In accordance with MSA’s recommendations, work on the Turn 1 tyre wall will commence on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, and continue until Thursday, 4th December 2025.

During this period:

• No testing sessions, multi-user sessions, or private bookings will be accepted, except for the already confirmed booking on Thursday, 27th November, which the team will accommodate.
• Short-circuit racing practice may take place on Monday, 24th November and Monday, 1st December.
• The Short-Circuit Racing Chairman is requested to notify their members that work will be taking place on the Turn 1 tyre wall.

While this work will not extend across the full circuit, please be aware of personnel and vehicles operating in the area.

These improvements are necessary to ensure the safety and compliance of our circuit ahead of the Cape Endurance event on 13th–14th December 2025.
